Kay Lang, Business Director
Kay has been an involved member of the Morristown community since 2012, when she relocated from her home state of Minnesota. Her sincere dedication to the young members of the Morristown community was evident through her volunteer work as the Service Unit Manager for the Girl Scouts of Greater Morristown, providing guidance to troop leaders and managing activities and fundraising campaigns for over 700 Girl Scouts as well as mentoring her troop until their high school graduation. Kay continues her commitment to local non-profits by volunteering for the American Cancer Society “Relay for Life”, where she has successfully organized and led yearly fundraising events, even during the pandemic.
Kay graduated in International Business and Marketing from the University of St. Thomas (MN) and developed a strong business background from her previous career at 3M Company where she held various sales and leadership roles in the Industrial, Consumer, and Retail Divisions. A true benefit of being part of the Children of the Green is having a work environment filled with the sounds of children.
Andrew T Cattano, Operations Director
Andrew has been with the organization for nearly two decades.
What began as a part-time job while in high school has blossomed into a
full-time career and a true passion for early childhood education. At
Children on the Green, Mr. Cattano has held progressively responsible
positions including teaching assistant, co-teacher, Preschool
Supervisor, Assistant Director, Co-Director, and Director of Operations.
Given his extensive experience at all levels within the organizational
structure and his many years of service, Mr. Cattano is recognized by
staff, parents, and other constituents as a competent manager and a
steadfast champion of Children on the Green’s mission. In addition to
his work with Children on the Green, Mr. Cattano is President of the
Board of Trustees of the Morristown United Methodist Church. He also
volunteers his time with the Church’s youth group to help raise money
for their annual mission trips. Mr. Cattano also serves on the Advisory Board for nourish NJ.
