Our nurturing environment prioritizes each child's sense of security, well-being, and trust. Every infant is assigned a dedicated caregiver who meets their needs and communicates with parents on a daily basis. Each day, infants enjoy opportunities for sensory stimulation, language exposure, and motor skills development. We maintain a low caregiver-to-child ratio of 4:1

Our caregivers actively adapt the environment, materials, and curriculum to support the evolving needs of our energetic toddlers. During this stage, children begin to form a clearer sense of self and others, enhancing their emotional awareness and social skills. Through a blend of structured activities and free play, toddlers develop both receptive and expressive language skills, along with fine and gross motor skills.

In line with our educational philosophy, Children on the Green utilizes The Creative Curriculum, a well-established, research-based framework that fosters a fun and effective learning environment in our preschool classrooms. Our teachers design developmentally appropriate activities and explorations that support each child's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development.
Children on the Green is pleased to offer wraparound care for pre-k students enrolled in the Morris School District. We open at 7:00 AM for morning care and parents can pick up their children anytime between 3:45 PM and 5:30 PM.
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal initiative that helps ensure children and adults in care settings receive nutritious meals. Administered by the USDA, CACFP provides funding to child care centers, family day care homes, after-school programs, and adult care centers, helping to offset the cost of healthy meals. By meeting strict nutrition standards, the program promotes good health, supports learning, and improves overall well-being for participants, while offering financial assistance to providers.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
