As children move into Early Preschool they becom more independent and
interested in doing things for themselves. The Creative Curriculum
encourages their growing independence by creating opportunities for the
children to choose their own activities and take leadership roles in the

The philosophy behind Creative Curriculum is that young children learn best by doing. Learning isn’t just repeating back what someone else says, it’s exploring and experimenting to find out how things work. Through the way we organize the classroom, the activities we plan with the children and the way we organize the daily schedule, we support a child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development and help them to become inquisitive, enthusiastic and self-confident learners for life.
