Toddler Child Care Program — 18 months - 2 ½ Years
Toddlers are naturally curious and are exploring and discovering at
an amazing rate. For our toddlers we build upon the Creative
Curriculum used in our Infant Program and expand it to include more hands-on activities and
projects such as water table play, art projects, sandbox play and
dress-up. Teachers begin to introduce concepts such as similarity and
differences, sorting, story re-telling and identifying emotions and
feelings.

The philosophy behind Creative Curriculum is that young children learn best by doing. Learning isn’t just repeating back what someone else says, it’s exploring and experimenting to find out how things work. Through the way we organize the classroom, the activities we plan with the children and the way we organize the daily schedule, we support a child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development and help them to become inquisitive, enthusiastic and self-confident learners for life.
