Music with Miss Jenny

Storytime with Miss Jess

COG is delighted to have Miss Jenny from the Mayo Performing Arts Center join us weekly to enrich the lives of our students. Through music and movement, Miss Jenny not only engages students, but exposes them to a new world of rhythm and excitement.

Storytime with Miss Jess

COG has partnered with the Morristown Library to bring their mobile book van to us! Every week, Miss Jess comes to read the children a story and then they can pick books from her book van! These visits foster a love of reading from an early age and solidify literacy skills that are being taught daily.

CACFP Food Program

Farmer Kim visits us monthly to help students connect to where food comes from, covering topics including plant science, nutrition, and environmental education.  Discovery-based learning is essential for creating positive food memories, while sparking curiosity and exploration for young minds. The earlier children are introduced to the taste of fresh foods including vegetables, the greater the impact on their long-term health. Grow It Green Morristown's mission is to build a sustainable future by combining foundational eco-friendly farming practices with inclusive educational programs and events that empower everyone in our community to learn and grow together.

CACFP Food Program

CACFP Food Program

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal initiative that helps ensure children and adults in care settings receive nutritious meals. Included in tuition, each child receives a hot lunch and 2 snacks daily. Administered by the USDA, CACFP provides funding to childcare centers, family day care homes, after-school programs, and adult care centers, helping to offset the cost of healthy meals. By meeting strict nutrition standards, the program promotes good health, supports learning, and improves overall well-being for participants, while offering financial assistance to providers.
