Part of our commitment to providing quality care and education means that we have certified, experienced teachers in every room of our center, working closely with a talented, dedicated leadership team accountable to the families we serve. The average tenure of our staff is 7 years On The Green!
JoAnn Quattro, Director of Child Care
JoAnn Quattro has been a part of the Children on the Green family since she brought her baby daughter to the infant room in 1996. Impressed by the caring and knowledgeable staff (including founding director Rochelle Kelman and a young part-time assistant named Andrew Cattano), she joined the Board of Trustees two years later and served three terms as president. Over the next twenty years, JoAnn worked in the early childhood education field as a child care director, a consultant and a funder, most significantly with United Way of Northern New Jersey, where she engaged in advocacy and community outreach in Morris, western Essex and Somerset counties. She is thrilled and grateful to return to Children on the Green to lead the center forward into a changing future.
Andrew T Cattano, Director of Operations
Andrew has been with the organization for nearly two decades. What began as a part-time job while in high school has blossomed into a full-time career and a true passion for early childhood education. At Children on the Green, Mr. Cattano has held progressively responsible positions including teaching assistant, co-teacher, Preschool Supervisor, Assistant Director, Co-Director, and Director of Operations. Given his extensive experience at all levels within the organizational structure and his many years of service, Mr. Cattano is recognized by staff, parents, and other constituents as a competent manager and a steadfast champion of Children on the Green’s mission. In addition to his work with Children on the Green, Mr. Cattano is President of the Board of Trustees of the Morristown United Methodist Church. He also volunteers his time with the Church’s youth group to help raise money for their annual mission trips. Mr. Cattano also serves on the Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown’s Board of Trustees.
